Grow a Garden pet trading guide

Use this checklist before accepting pet trades, especially when weight, event rarity or several pets are involved.

Player answer first

Start with the player decision, then check sources, safety notes and tool links before you act in game.

Before you trade

Good trades start with context, not a single number.

The pet database gives every pet a value index so players can compare offers quickly. The index is a helper, not an official market price. Before accepting a deal, check whether the pet is still obtainable, whether the other player is paying extra for weight, and whether an event-only item is being treated like a common pet.

For a single-pet trade, open the pet page and then the weight calculator if size matters. For a bundle, use the WFL checker and compare both sides. If a trade includes codes, Discord-only promises, password forms or scripts, stop and read the safety page first.

Win

The received side is clearly higher by the current index, but still check event status.

Fair

The gap is small enough that personal goals, collection sets or stock timing may decide.

Loss

The given side is higher. Slow down unless you intentionally overpay for a goal.

Review

High-value pets, rare mutations and old event items need a recent source before trading.
